We are seeking a dedicated individual to fill the position of Youth Worker in Caboolture.
As a Youth Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting young people to achieve their personal goals and develop positive living skills, social connections, and cultural understanding.
Your responsibilities will include working with young people to develop therapeutic interventions that promote their well-being and safety, as well as providing support to children and young people using a trauma-informed approach.
A day in this role may involve:
* Transporting young people to school, appointments, and community activities
* Collaborating with a team to achieve positive outcomes for young people
* Promoting good hygiene and nutrition
* Completing daily case notes and admin tasks
* Participating in supervision sessions
To be successful in this role, you will require a Certificate IV or higher qualification in Child, Youth & Family Intervention or similar, as well as a current Blue Card and Child Safety Personal History Check (LCS2).
You will also need to have a paid Blue Card or have applied for one, completion of Hope and Healing Framework training, a valid driver's license, and two recent references. A COVID-19 vaccination requirement applies to this role.
