The Department of Communities brings together the services and functions of disability services, child protection and family support, community initiatives and regional services reform.

TheBusiness Services Division provides a one stop shop for a range of business support services for the whole of Communities.

The Opportunity

As a Manager Financial Development, you will be responsible for:

* initiating and managing the development of financial modelling and business intelligence solutions to enable the Department to have an informed understanding of its financial performance and to meet reporting requirements
* providing financial models, complex statistical analysis and reports to support the Department's business decision-making
* creating tools, including calculators, to determine appropriate funding or shifts in allocation under an insurance model
* providing expert advice and support on appropriate statistical techniques to other areas of the Department and the Corporate Leadership Team
* developing business intelligence products for use by the Corporate Leadership Team and the business
