Orman Solicitors is a boutique Family Law, Wills and Estates firm seeking an experienced and highly organised Finance Manager to join our supportive and professional team. This is a key role within the firm, responsible for the effective management of accounts, trust monies and financial administration.

Your Role at Orman Solicitors
Reporting to the Director, you will play a vital role in the financial and operational support of the firm.
Your responsibilities will include:
· Managing accounts receivable and payable using Actionstep and Xero,
· Processing trust account and general account receipts in line with regulatory regulations,
· Drafting and sending client invoices,
· Assisting with month-end reconciliations and financial reporting,
· Monitoring and managing the debtor list, following up overdue accounts and escalating where required,
· Uploading supplier invoices and maintaining accurate financial records,
· Managing weekly payroll, including superannuation and leave processing,
· Assisting with BAS preparation and statutory deposit management to ensure ongoing compliance,
· Liaising with external accountants or auditors to support compliance and reporting requirements,
· Drafting employment contracts,
· Providing administrative support to the broader team when required,
· Contributing to continuous improvement of systems, processes and efficiencies within the firm.
What You'll Bring
We are looking for someone who has:
· Experience with Xero and preferably Actionstep, or similar legal practice management software,
· A high level of attention to detail and strong organisational skills,
· The ability to manage confidential information with discretion and professionalism,
· Clear written and verbal communication skills,
· A self-motivated approach and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Qualifications and Experience:
· Significant experience in management accounting, CPA qualification is highly desirable,
· Prior experience in accounts or administration within a professional setting is essential,
· Familiarity with trust accounting and/or experience in the legal sector is advantageous.
