About the Role
This role is responsible for delivering the Skilling Queenslanders for Work Program, including planning, coordinating activities, and recruiting, supporting, and engaging program participants. The coordinator will mentor and support participants in improving LLN (Language, Literacy, and Numeracy) skills and developing employability skills to create employment outcomes.
The program aims to address barriers such as LLN, travel, and access to employer networks, enhancing employment participation, education levels, community engagement, and socioeconomic outcomes. The role involves liaising with government departments, community organizations, and employers, as well as providing training and assessment as needed.

Essential Criteria
* Qualifications in Training and Assessment, Skills for Work and Vocational Pathways, General Education, or LLN qualifications.
* Experience in delivering government-funded programs like Skilling Queenslanders for Work.
* Coordination experience, preferably with vulnerable populations.
* Cultural understanding of CALD communities and their needs.
* Ability to understand labor market trends and barriers to employment.
* Capacity to handle unpredictable situations and behaviors.
* Strong interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement.
