* $92,829.47 - $106,244.03 per annum depending on experience

Join the City of Busselton's Statutory Planning team and contribute to the delivery of well-considered development outcomes across a diverse and growing region. You'll be responsible for the assessment and determination of a wide range of development applications; from residential to commercial and tourism proposals, each offering its own set of considerations. Your contribution will help ensure planning decisions align with the City's strategic objectives and planning framework.
What you'll be doing:
* Assessing development applications - from single houses to commercial and tourism projects.
* Reviewing subdivision proposals - residential, rural, and commercial.
* Providing expert advice to developers, government agencies, and the community.
* Conducting site visits in breathtaking locations like Dunsborough, Eagle Bay, and Yallingup.
* Assisting in the development and review of local planning policies and procedures.
* Supporting the City's strategic planning goals and Local Planning Scheme.

What you'll bring to the role:
* Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
* A keen eye for detail and sound judgement.
* Bachelor of Arts in Urban & Regional Planning, or similar qualification/relevant industry experience.
* Experience in statutory planning.
