Indianic Group is a large, privately owned, and leading Marine Services, Construction, and Defence service provider based in Western Australia. We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Senior HR Manager to join our growing marine and engineering services business on a part-time basis (2 to 3 days per week or a 5-day fortnight – flexibility around working hours and days to be discussed at interview). The salary range is circa $110,000 FTE per annum, pro-rata based on working hours, salary is negotiable depending on experience. This is a key on-site role based in Henderson, with direct responsibility for shaping our people strategy and supporting day-to-day HR operations.
Key Responsibilities
Employee Relations & Performance: Support workplace issues, grievances, performance management, and culture alignment.
Recruitment & Selection: Manage end-to-end hiring processes in collaboration with hiring managers.
Training & Development: Identify skill gaps and coordinate training programmes.
Compensation & Benefits: Oversee salary and wages reviews / packaging and support finance payroll fortnightly review.
HR Compliance & Governance: Ensure compliance with awards and employment law; contribute to workforce planning and reporting.
A minimum of 5 years’ HR experience in a senior generalist or management role.
Formal qualification in Human Resource Management or similar.
Strong knowledge of modern awards and Australian employment legislation.
Demonstrated expertise across recruitment, performance, employee relations, and remuneration.
Highly Desirable
Background in supporting both waged and salaried employees in project environments.
