- Fixed Term position commencing 21 July until 31 December 2025 (Term 3 and Term 4)
- Working days will be Tuesday and Wednesday
- Working with students from Prep to Year 4

**The role**
The Teacher Librarian supports and helps to implement the vision of the School through the teaching of effective literature and information literacy programs. The Teacher Librarian will:
- Promote the library as a learning hub within the school
- Create a warm, welcoming, learner-centred library environment
- Support a campus wide culture of reading
- Collaborate with the Head of Library Services and teacher librarian team to plan and implement information literacy and literature programs (Prep to Year 4) that result in positive student outcomes
- Teach timetabled library classes in effective use of information literacy skills, and literature programs
While the primary responsibilities of the position are articulated, it is expected that the incumbent will engage with the School community and participate fully in a range of events and activities.
**Academic Qualifications**:
Recognised teaching qualification and qualification in librarianship, defined as eligibility for Associate (i.e. professional) membership for the Australian Library and Information Association (ALIA). Applicants with recognised teaching qualifications with appropriate experience will be considered.
