About the Role
As a Finance – Costing Specialist, you will play a key role in designing, building, and testing SAP solutions, including systems integration. You will leverage your subject matter expertise to ensure successful project delivery and client success. This contract role involves leading SAP functional teams, participating in new and existing implementations, and working with the latest technology and tools.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver innovative SAP business solutions through design, build, test, and integration.
* Lead workshops with business and process architects, conduct FITGAP analysis, and customise SAP S/4HANA Finance & Controlling solutions.
* Manage process design, planning, and execution of build activities.
* Provide emergency support to resolve incidents and problems, including monitoring and actioning late arrival of critical data from source systems.
* Implement minor enhancements and modifications, such as changes to mapping tables.
* Advise power users and stakeholders as a subject matter expert.
* Drive resolution of defects and issues by understanding client needs and presenting options.
* Identify, develop, and implement solutions to address business gaps.
* Participate in both new and existing SAP implementations, developed with the latest technology and tools.
The Successful Candidate
To be considered, you must:
* Be an Australian Citizen with a current AGSVA NV1 Security Clearance. Candidates with Baseline clearance who are willing to secure NV1 or higher will also be considered.
* Have extensive demonstrable SAP S/4HANA experience, including at least 3 full end-to-end project lifecycles.
* Possess excellent knowledge in SAP Finance & Controlling and general knowledge of other SAP modules.
* Have experience in process design, planning, and managing execution of build activities.
* Be skilled in FITGAP analysis, leading workshops, and customising SAP S/4HANA Finance & Controlling solutions.
* Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve defects and issues.
* Be able to provide emergency support and implement minor enhancements.
* Show ambition, leadership skills, and a talent for building successful client relationships.
* Have team lead or project management aspirations and a drive to develop as a functional consultant.
* Possess strong presentation skills and a willingness to take on challenges in new areas at new clients.
