Join a top tier architectural practice that specialises in defence and complex infrastructure projects. Due to significant business growth, my client is seeking a talented Architect to join their team working on large scale projects including health, correctional, defence, rail stations, and other major infrastructure.
We are ideally looking for someone with strong experience on complex projects and who holds extensive technical skills. You'll work on challenging projects that require detailed technical knowledge and coordination across multiple disciplines.
If you're an experienced architect with 7-10+ years on large complex projects, strong Revit skills, and experience in defence or similar sectors, this role offers exceptional career development within prestigious infrastructure projects.
Essential Requirements
* 7-10+ years professional experience in architecture
* Strong experience on large complex projects (health, correctional, defence, rail stations, infrastructure or similar etc)
* Bachelors, Masters in Architecture is essential
* Registration preferred but not essential
* Defence project experience highly desirable
* Australian citizenship is essential
* Experience coordinating with multiple consultants and disciplines
Key Responsibilities
* Develop detailed design documentation for complex projects
* Coordinate with consultants, engineers, and specialist trades
* Prepare comprehensive drawing packages through all project phases
* Manage technical aspects of large scale projects
* Liaise with clients, contractors, and government stakeholders
* Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and project specifications
* Support project teams through early design and construction phases
* Contribute to tender documentation and construction administration
