We are excited to welcome a new Project Manager to join our Soft Cells team, based in our Sydney office.
About the job
As our new Project Manager, you will play a key role in the overall project delivery from implementation to completion.
Some of your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
* Prepare and submit quotations, technical drawings inclusive of shop drawings, cost proposals, and submissions of all required project documents.
* Planning, identifying and monitoring all aspects of project delivery cycle, including all risk on the project from financial, logistical to personal.
* Coordination and technical support for designers, clients and contractors throughout the project with communication and participation in meetings.
* Develop, maintain and strengthen relationships with contractors and key project stakeholders to support efficient site coordination and high-quality installations.
* Liaise directly with local and overseas production teams to coordinate manufacturing schedules, confirm lead times and ensure project deadlines are met.
* Contract negotiation.
* Assist in the review of builder/contractor contracts where required, identifying key commercial, delivery and risk considerations. Working to solve issues and risks that might arise during the project.
Qualifications & Competencies
You hold a bachelor's degree or equivalent in architecture, construction, interior design or engineering related subject, and have a minimum of 3 years of project management experience or contracting related working experience in commercial projects.
Other qualifications we are looking for:
* Knowledge and understanding of the construction process from sales to execution, here with focus on design, technical specifications and their implementation.
* Confident with supply chain, delivery processes and planning.
* Hands on experience and a track record of delivering product consistently with high quality and profitably.
* Proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office and Project Manager Software.
* Quality driven, detailed orientated and well organised.
* Self-motivated with a strong sense of responsibility and good team ethics.
* Adaptable and flexible to the changing demands of the position.
* Good communication and coordination skill with internal or external clients.
* Fluent in English.
