IT Subject Matter Expert (Assessment Validation & Content Review)

Our Certificate IV in Information Technology was recently launched and has proven popular, with student numbers continuing to grow. We’re committed to delivering an outstanding learner experience. We’re seeking a qualified Information Technology Subject Matter Expert to review and validate assessment materials, ensure compliance, and implement improvements to maximize student success.
This is a per-piece contract role. Each module validation is paid at $400, with each review expected to take between 4–8 hours. Future opportunities for contract assessment work may arise as the program expands (optional).
Responsibilities include:
Review and validate assessment materials for Certificate IV in IT modules.
Ensure assessments meet ASQA and compliance standards.
Verify that assessment tasks align with learning content.
Assess student usability, ensuring clarity, practicality, and accessibility of tasks.
Provide actionable recommendations for improvements.
Collaborate with Product and Learning Design teams to update materials.
Qualifications and experience required:
TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent).
Relevant IT qualifications (minimum Certificate IV in IT, higher preferred).
Current industry knowledge and experience in IT.
Experience in teaching and/or assessment within vocational education.
Robust attention to detail and ability to work independently.
