Registered Nurse - Respiratory
Hunter New England Local Health District seeks a Registered Nurse – Respiratory (Temporary Part Time) to join the multidisciplinary team at Inverell Community Health.
Essential Details:
Employment Type: Temporary Part Time (Hours per week: 16; term until December 2026)
Location: Inverell Community Health, Inverell, NSW
Salary: $37.48 – $52.62 per hour (plus salary packaging & 12% super)

Role Overview:
Support patients with respiratory conditions such as COPD and asthma through comprehensive care. Collaborate within a diverse, supportive team to deliver high‑quality care to the rural community.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide excellent respiratory nursing care to individual patients.
Conduct detailed assessments and administer spirometry tests.
Lead energising group pulmonary rehabilitation sessions twice weekly.
Deliver education and support for clients using oxygen therapy.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and safety protocols.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
Experience and/or qualification in respiratory nursing preferred.
Confidence in running small group programs.
Australian citizen, permanent resident of Australia, or Recent Zealand citizen with a current NZ passport; eligible temporary visa holders may apply if no suitable local candidate is found.
