Offer description

Help shape the future of fast-charging technology.

Tritium Power Solutions is inviting Expressions of Interest from Power Electronics Engineers at Junior, Mid-Level, and Senior stages of their careers who are passionate about designing world-leading high-power electronics. This is an opportunity to join a highly collaborative environment and contribute directly to the power modules that underpin Tritium's globally deployed DC fast-charging solutions.

If you thrive on innovation, enjoy solving complex technical challenges, and want to see your designs move from concept to high-volume production, we'd love to hear from you.

The Opportunity

You will be a key contributor within Tritium's Power Electronics team. You'll play a hands-on role in the design, development, verification, and continuous improvement of high-power modules used in next-generation fast chargers, balancing performance, reliability, cost, and manufacturability.

This role offers exposure across the full product lifecycle—from early design and simulation through to verification, automated test equipment (ATE), and production support—while collaborating closely with firmware, test, and manufacturing teams

What You'll Be Doing

* Design and develop high-power electronic modules for Tritium fast-charging products
* Drive technical innovation while balancing cost, features, and delivery timelines
* Contribute to the power module and technology roadmap
* Develop and execute verification plans to ensure modules meet technical requirements
* Work closely with firmware and test teams on EMS, IQC, EOL, and ATE solutions
* Optimise BoM cost, reliability, serviceability, and production readiness
* Apply simulation tools for electrical, thermal, and performance analysis
* Support continuous improvement in reporting, documentation, and testing processes
* Collaborate cross-functionally and contribute positively to team culture

What You'll Bring

* A degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Power Engineering
* Experience in high-power electronics design (kW/KV levels), including MOSFETs, IGBTs, rectifiers, magnetics, and power conversion topologies
* Knowledge of DC/DC, inverter, rectifier, and power conversion systems
* Experience with EMC, DFM/DFT, and design for volume manufacture
* Familiarity with simulation tools such as MATLAB/Simulink, LTSpice, Simplorer, Maxwell or similar
* Exposure to CANbus and vehicle communication networks
* Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment
* Clear communication skills and a collaborative mindset

Who You Are

You're a hands-on problem solver who enjoys experimentation and learning. You're comfortable with ambiguity, take ownership of outcomes, and enjoy working across disciplines. You're curious about emerging technologies, proactive in finding root causes, and motivated by seeing your work make a real-world impact.
