Subsequently, the role will focus on the management of the transactional procurement function across three sites within Western Australia but with oversight or involvement across a variety of verticals within the supply chain including logistics, supplier management, order management and reporting/analytics.

Description
Although the responsibilities of the role are initially transactional there is an expectation that the successful individual will contribute to the continuous improvement of the overall procurement function including deeper strategic and contract work.
* Undertake detailed market analysis, profiling all the relevant categories within the assigned portfolio, this will include the creation of strategic reports outlining procurement and supplier performance.
* Identify new suppliers or opportunities with existing suppliers to engage with initial negotiations to improve commercial standing, relationship and other measurables.
* Identify when necessary and then support the creation and implementation of an appropriate supplier relationship management plan with applicable vendors.
* Satisfy the end to end purchasing requirements of the three sites through the current purchasing process.
Profile
The successful candidate will demonstrate the following:
* Previous experience managing a transactional procurement function ideally with additional exposure to framework/supplier contracts and tender proposals.
* Exposure within the FMCG industry from a procurement perspective.
* Advanced Microsoft Excel ability with the capability to manipulate and interpret large data sets.
