Job Description
Kalahari Farms Pty Ltd Key duties include: Managing the day-to-day operations of a poultry farm housing approximately 300,000 birds Supporting the raising, care, and monitoring of poultry Monitoring bird health, welfare, behaviour, and overall production conditions Monitoring environmental conditions within poultry sheds and adjusting systems as required to support productivity and animal welfare Implementing and maintaining biosecurity protocols and farm hygiene standards Ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory and operational requirements Managing feed inventory, including accurate ordering and coordination with suppliers to maintain continuous supply Carrying out routine farm maintenance and basic electrical repairs to ensure the smooth operation of farm facilities and equipment Assisting with the upkeep of poultry housing, watering, feeding, and other farm infrastructure Maintaining accurate farm and production records About Company Kalahari Farms is a family-run agricultural business in Far North Queensland.
