Job Title: On-Ground Support Executive – Australia (Sports Tech)
Location: Australia (preferably based in major cities like Sydney, Melbourne, or Brisbane)
Job Type: Part-time
Reporting To: Head of Operations (India)
Key Responsibilities
Event Support:
Be present at venues during key tournaments and league events.
Ensure our software runs smoothly on-site (registrations, live scoring, scheduling, etc.).
Identify and escalate any on-ground issues in real time.
Client Liaison:
Communicate effectively with event organizers, coaches, and stakeholders.
Gather feedback and share it with our technical and support teams in India.
Technical Coordination:
Coordinate with the remote development and support team for software updates, bug fixes, or new feature rollouts.
Training & Demos:
Provide basic training or product demos to event staff or partners as needed.
Reporting:
Submit detailed reports after each event, including incidents, observations, and performance insights.
Requirements
Must be an Australian resident or have valid work authorization.
Previous experience in sports event management, technical support, or customer service is preferred.
Familiarity with tournament formats, especially in racket sports like table tennis, badminton, or pickleball.
Strong communication skills (English is mandatory).
Tech-savvy, with the ability to understand and troubleshoot mobile/web-based software.
Willingness to travel for events, including on weekends or evenings.
A genuine passion for sports and a solution-oriented mindset.
Nice to Have
Experience with sports tech platforms (e.g., scoring apps or tournament software).
Knowledge of the local sports ecosystem (clubs, leagues, schools).
Background in IT, computer science, or sports management.
