Senior Project Manager
Aurizon is delivering a multi-stream SAP Transformation across HR/Payroll, Finance, Procurement, and migrating to SAP on RISE.
We are looking for two Senior Project Managers who can turn strategy into disciplined delivery, balancing scope, schedule, cost, quality and benefits across complex workstreams.
What you'll do
Own delivery of assigned program streams (HR/Payroll, Finance, Procurement and Core Migration to SAP on RISE) within the broader SAP transformation.
Build and maintain the Project Management Plan (WBS, milestones, dependencies, baselines, change control).
Manage, monitor and control day-to-day delivery against plan and relevant functional, operational and legal requirements.
Report with impact to Sponsor/Program Manager/Senior Management—calling out actual and emerging time/cost/quality variance early.
Land clean close-outs: asset handover, financial closure and audit readiness.
Lead and mentor project teams; contribute to program forums and resourcing across streams.
We're looking for someone with
10+ years in project management, with 5+ years leading enterprise-level transformations (ERP/SAP or equivalent) across HR/Payroll, Finance and Procurement.
Strong financial/commercial acumen and vendor/contract management in multi-supplier environments.
Executive-level stakeholder engagement and communication; confident in steer-co's and contested decision forums.
Formal PM certification (PMP/PRINCE2/MSP/Agile) highly regarded.
