Quality and Safety Manager Position
We are seeking a highly skilled Quality and Safety Manager to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development and implementation of quality and safety systems across our organisation.
* Oversight and leadership of operational quality and safety systems in line with accreditation standards, government frameworks, and partnering in healthcare initiatives.
* Design and continuation of quality and safety systems organisation-wide, ensuring seamless integration and effective risk management.
* Oversight and examination of clinical events, including event reviews as required, to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
* Provision of expert advice to senior leaders on quality and safety matters, ensuring informed decision-making and strategic alignment.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
* A registrable qualification by Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) or a tertiary qualification in health administration, business administration, or public policy.
* A profound knowledge of rural healthcare and its challenges, with at least three years' experience in public health quality and safety or a related field.
* Demonstrated working knowledge of National Safety and Quality Standards and Aged Care Standards, with previous recent experience involved with organisation-wide accreditation activities.
* Experience working with clinical governance and risk processes, including reviews of significant events and introduction of improvement initiatives.
