Job Description
As a Basic Trainee in our Emergency Surgery Unit, you will participate in a 12-month training program that includes rotations in the Emergency Surgical Unit and Intensive Care Unit. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team, including surgeons, anaesthetists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
You will develop skills in patient assessment, diagnosis, and management, as well as surgical techniques and critical care procedures. Contribute to a dynamic and supportive work environment with opportunities for professional growth and development.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Be a junior doctor pursuing a career in General Surgery or another surgical specialty.
* Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
* Be able to adapt to a dynamic and fast-paced work environment, with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care.
* Hold a valid medical registration and meet the requirements of the Medical Practitioners Agreement.
