About the role
Civil Construction Surveys' is seeking a skilled Civil Site Engineer to join our dynamic team in Dubbo, NSW. As a full-time position, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating civil engineering projects, ensuring they are delivered to the highest standards.
What you'll be doing
* Manage the planning, design, and implementation of civil engineering projects
* Conduct site inspections and assessments to identify potential issues and develop solutions
* Liaise with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met
* Prepare technical reports, drawings, and documentation to support project delivery
* Monitor project budgets and timelines, and implement corrective actions as needed
* Oversee the work of site technicians and subcontractors to ensure quality and safety standards are met
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of company processes and procedures
* Assist with tendering and quantity take offs.
What we're looking for
* A relevant bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
* Minimum 2 years of experience in a civil engineering role, preferably in the construction industry
* Proficient in the use of engineering software, such as AutoCAD, and project management tools
* Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and critical thinking skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with various stakeholders
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on safety and quality
* Knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and regulations in the civil engineering industry
