Job Overview
This role is a permanent part‐time Personal Care Assistant position at St Vincent's Care Service Carseldine, requiring at least 6 days of work per fortnight.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist residents with personal care tasks such as grooming, showering, mobility assistance, meal support, toileting and social activities.
* Provide personal care in line with the organisation's mission and philosophy of compassion, kindness, and person‐centred care.
* Follow directives outlined in each resident's care plan.
* Maintain high levels of customer service, attention to detail and clear communication with residents and colleagues.
Qualifications & Experience
* Certificate III in Individual Support, Certificate III in Aged Care, or an equivalent qualification.
* Commitment to a permanent part‐time schedule, with availability for day, afternoon or night shifts.
* Prior experience working in an aged‐care environment.
* Strong customer‐service skills, excellent communication and the ability to follow care‐plan directives.
* Knowledge of Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (NCCHC) requirements.
* NDIS Worker Screening Check may be required.
