The Opportunity Banana Shire Council has an opportunity for a suitably experienced or motivated individual to join Council’s Compliance Team to investigate and enforce regulatory functions, animal control and other local laws. Key Accountability and Responsibilities will include: Investigating and enforcing regulatory matters Educating the community to promote understanding and compliance Animal handling Reporting writing and other administration tasks About the Person To be successful in this position, you will have confidence in animal behaviour, control and identification together with the ability to interpret and enforce legislation and Council Local Laws. You will be a strong communicator with high level negotiation and conflict resolution skills. What can we offer you?
