In this rewarding role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality personal care and support to our valued residents, ensuring their safety, comfort and well-being.What you'll be doingAssisting residents with their daily living activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobilisationMonitoring residents' health and wellbeing, and reporting any changes to the appropriate staffEngaging residents in social and recreational activities to enhance their quality of lifeMaintaining accurate and detailed records of resident careAdhering to all relevant policies, procedures and legislative requirementsCollaborating with the multidisciplinary care team to deliver person-centred careWhat we're looking forCertificate III or Certificate IV in Individual Support (Aged Care)Experience in providing personal care to the elderly, preferably in a residential aged care settingExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to empathise and build rapport with residentsA compassionate and patient approach, with a genuine commitment to improving the lives of older adultsStrong organisational skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a teamA Police Clearance ( less than 6 months old), Evidence of Flu Vaccination 2024 and 2 Covid VaccinationsIf you are ready to make a meaningful difference in the lives of older Australians, we encourage you toapply now by clicking on the Apply for Job button below.
