Job Title: Clinical Nurse Consultant Emergency Department
We are a dynamic team providing high-quality patient care in the emergency department of our 189-bed facility.
Our services include medical, surgical, maternity, paediatric, emergency, cardiac and rehabilitation.
We have comprehensive allied health services and advanced medical and diagnostic services on site.
Pathology, radiology and pharmacy services are available to support our patients.
As a Clinical Nurse Consultant, you will be part of an experienced clinical team helping to create a welcoming, professional and supportive care experience for our patients.
You will provide effective case management of patients with an extended length of stay.
Requirements:
* Nursing Registration: Essential registration with the relevant authority is required.
* Infection Control: Demonstrated application of contemporary infection control standards and practices is essential.
* Quality Improvement: Ability to participate in quality improvement activities.
* Experience: Minimum of two (2) years' experience in the relevant specialty.
* Work Arrangement: Willingness to work on a permanent part-time basis.
* Communication Skills: Effective communication skills at all levels enabling best practice outcomes.
* Specialty Experience: Recent experience in the speciality area and appropriate qualifications and registration are required.
* Patient Care: You will understand the importance of providing quality care and creating a genuine impact.
* Interpersonal Skills: Well-developed interpersonal skills to support patients and organisation's needs.
