The Opportunity
We are seeking a passionate Diploma Qualified Baby Room Leader to join our Murray Bridge centre. This role is ideal for an experienced educator who is confident working with infants, values responsive and respectful caregiving, and enjoys leading and mentoring a team.
As the Baby Room Leader, you will play a key role in shaping a calm, nurturing, and enriching environment that supports babies during their most important developmental years.
What You'll Be Doing
* Leading and mentoring a team of educators within the baby room
* Planning and implementing nurturing, developmentally appropriate programs aligned with the EYLF and National Quality Standards
* Building strong, trusting relationships with babies and their families
* Overseeing observations, documentation, and learning stories to ensure high-quality practice
* Maintaining a safe, stimulating, and well-organised baby room environment
* Working closely with the Centre Director and leadership team to support a positive and inclusive centre culture
What You'll Bring
* Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA-approved equivalent)
* Previous experience as a Room Leader or senior educator in a baby room (preferred)
* Strong understanding of infant development, the EYLF, and NQS
* Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills
* A calm, nurturing approach and genuine passion for working with babies
* Current Working With Children Check, First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certificates (or willingness to obtain)
