Job Title: Site Supervisor
As the Site Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in providing exceptional support to our clients in our home accommodation services.
You will provide supervision and leadership to support workers that provide daily assistance at the residence and provide direct hands-on support with the participants.
Responsibilities
Providing support aligned to the person's plans, goals and any other requirements, including all aspects of personal hygiene and living skills to ensure a safe and comfortable living environment.
Modelling active support to the support worker team to guide their practice in person-centred active support.
Ensuring team member awareness of each individual client's requirements.
Supporting the financial performance of the home service site through effective management of operating expenditure in line with budget.
Delivering and encouraging accurate documentation of all activities to ensure an audit trail and maintenance of progress notes.
Overseeing daily operations, implementing individual support plans including Positive Behaviour Support Plans and complex Health Care Plans, stakeholder engagement, managing incident reports and roster scheduling.
Ensuring the completion of applicable administration tasks to ensure the quality of services for all participants and enabling independent living aligned with participant plans.
Qualifications
A Certificate III in Disability and/or Certificate III in Individual Support required.
Experience in a similar role and in the Disability and Aged Care sector, with complex behaviours and mental health challenges.
Experience supervising site operations and delivering services aligned with organisational policies and procedures.
Experience with the NDIS Workforce Screening Check (Yellow Card), Working with Children Check (Blue Card), First Aid, CPR, National Criminal History Check (Fit2Work), and a current driver's licence.
Proven interpersonal and communication skills and ability to build relationships with team members and stakeholders.
Problem-solving skills to identify problems, develop solutions and implement them using a logical and systematic approach.
