The role
You will support and assist the warehouse team in all aspects of Warehouse operations.
Key responsibilities:
* Safe Forklift operations.
* Load and unload trucks.
* Pallet movement in/out of storage locations.
* Pallet movement between factory locations.
* Perform quality checks of inward/outward goods.
* Distribute stock to the respective work area, ensure adequate stock to meet order requirements.
* General cleaning and maintenance of the receiving/dispatch areas and storage locations.
* Accurately record delivery information.
* Check and file receipts.
* Safe Truck driving between factory locations and customer sites across Melbourne.
* Back up support in other areas of the Warehouse, including Packing and Fulfillment operations.
The ideal candidate:
* MR/HR Licence with demonstrated driving experience is an advantage.
* Valid Forklift Licence with demonstrated experience in operating Forklifts. Experience with High Reach Forklifts. (up to 7.1 metres, 500kg pallet limit)
* Experience with Walker Stacker and Pedestrian Pallet Movers is an advantage.
* Steel Capped Footwear
* At least 2 years experience in a fast-paced Warehouse environment, preferably in FMCG.
* A proven track record of being reliable and punctual.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
* Excellent numerical skills.
* An understanding on how to perform your duties within a quality assurance environment.
* Effective time management and proactive approach, especially when managing competing priorities.
* Commitment to workplace safety.
* Ability to work cohesively and unsupervised in a high-performing team environment.
* Availability to commit to 5 days per week.
