We're looking for a caring and committed Carer to join our supportive team, providing high-quality, person-centred care that helps individuals live with dignity, comfort, and independence. We are on the lookout for someone who is willing to travel to Marrickville, postcode 2204.
Responsibilities of this role will include, but not limited to:
* Provide personal care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
* Offer companionship and emotional support to promote wellbeing and reduce loneliness.
* Carry out light household duties such as cleaning, laundry, and shopping.
* Monitor and record changes in clients' health or behaviour, reporting concerns promptly.
* Maintain accurate care records and ensure dignity, privacy, and safeguarding at all times.
Skills, Experiences and Qualifications:
* Proven experience delivering high-quality personal care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support.
* Experience providing domestic assistance such as cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, and maintaining a safe home environment.
* Strong ability to accurately document services provided, record incidents, and complete reports in line with organisational and regulatory requirements.
* Cert 3 in Aged or Disability Care or equivalent is a plus
* A valid NDIS Check, or willing to obtain one
* Current First Aid Certificate, as this is necessary to complete personal care
* Valid police check, or is willing to obtain one
* Willing to travel to Batemans Bay
