Patient Enquiries Officer (Receptionist)
Join the Nepean Blue Mountains Local Health District (NBMLHD) as a part-time Receptionist.
In this frontline role you will provide face-to-face assistance to patients and visitors, offering clear information about departments and patient whereabouts, while also managing enquiry phone calls with professionalism and care.

What You'll Do
Provide face-to-face assistance to patients and visitors, including clear directions to departments and patient whereabouts.
Manage enquiry telephone calls with professionalism and care.
Support essential hospital operations such as parking validations, visitor passes, courier booking, taxi voucher dispensing, and assistance for official visitors.
Serve as the primary point of contact for all service users, ensuring a welcoming and efficient experience.
Work seven 8-hour shifts each fortnight (14 shifts over a 4-week roster), covering service hours Monday to Sunday, 7:30 am – 8:00 pm.
What You'll Bring To The Role
Extensive and varied clerical experience, including reception experience.
Effective customer service experience with strong oral communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
Experience using Windows-based software, including databases, MS Word and Excel.
Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
Flexibility and adaptability to change.
