The Role
As part of our underground operations team, you will be responsible for operating UG MPU vehicles to ensure the delivery of top-quality products for blasting purposes at the site.
Your responsibilities include preparing for the charging of explosives into blast holes, which encompasses prepping and loading blast holes, setting up necessary equipment, handling explosives, priming, and stemming.
We are seeking individuals who are dedicated to maintaining a safe work environment, possess excellent communication skills, and have substantial experience in underground charge-up operations, including both development and production blasting.
Responsibilities
- Conduct pre-start checks and weekly inspections of assets
- Assist in preventative maintenance and troubleshooting
- Support explosive-related activities
- Share valuable knowledge with clients and crews
- Build strong customer relationships
- Uphold a high level of professionalism
