Responsibilities
Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document business requirements for data migration and HR systems projects.
Lead or support end-to-end data migration activities, including data mapping, transformation logic, validation, and reconciliation.
Work closely with data architects, developers, and QA teams to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and quality throughout migration phases.
Translate business requirements into functional specifications and use cases, with a focus on HR processes and compliance requirements.
Support system configuration, integration testing, UAT, and deployment activities.
Analyse gaps between legacy and target HR systems and suggest appropriate solutions.
Document data flow diagrams, business process models, and data dictionaries.
Provide input into data governance, security, and privacy related to employee data.
Manage stakeholder expectations and provide regular project status updates.
Conduct impact analysis of changes to existing systems and processes.
Qualifications
5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with at least 2 years in data migration projects.
Strong experience with HR systems (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, ADP).
Proficient in tools like Excel, SQL, data mapping utilities, and BA tools (JIRA, Confluence, etc.).
Familiarity with ETL processes and data validation techniques.
Experience working in Agile or hybrid project environments.
