Job Title: Visiting Medical Officer - Orthopaedic Surgery
The role of Visiting Medical Officer in Orthopaedic Surgery is a key appointment for our department. The successful applicant will be responsible for providing high-quality diagnostic, consultative and surgical specialty services in Orthopaedics, with a focus on developing a Foot and Ankle surgical service.
* Provide specialist orthopaedic care to patients with a range of conditions, including complex trauma and joint disorders.
* Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
* Contribute to the development of clinical guidelines and protocols within the Orthopaedic Department.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
* Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
* Fellowship with the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) or equivalent specialist recognition.
* Recognised qualifications in Orthopaedic Surgery.
