The Work Safety Group in Chief Minister, Treasury and Economic Development Directorate seeks an individual passionate about rehabilitation to fill a temporary opportunity within our return-to-work service. The role will support the work rehabilitation service for ACT public sector employees with a work-related injury or illness. The service delivers person-centred outcomes through the provision of evidence-based advice to remain at or return to work. The role will also work with a range of internal and external stakeholders, including rehabilitation case managers and treating clinicians, to support a healthy and safe return to work as part of the worker's compensation system. Eligibility/Other requirements: Relevant tertiary qualifications in an allied health discipline and a minimum of five years post qualification experience. Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) or other regulatory board. A current driver’s licence. This position involves direct supervision of personnel. Highly desirable Experience in the delivery of work rehabilitation services.
