+ 4% salary increase effective 20 April 2026 (EB Agreement)+ annualised allowance of $1,772+ 9-day fortnight

What We Are Looking For
We have two team member positions available within our cemetery services team, based out of Maryborough. You’ll deliver both scheduled and reactive operations including burial and interment activities, grounds maintenance and ensuring our areas are well presented and meeting service levels. Alongside this, you may come into contact with members of the public and funeral directors, compassionate and empathetic communication is a must.
What Your Day Will Look Like
Operating a variety of plant, tools and equipment in a safe and effective mannerEnsuring high standards of cemetery presentation Identifying hazards and defects and ensuring they are escalated and addressedAdhering to legislative requirements and WHS proceduresUtilising Council’s works management systems to record work and address service requests

What You’ll Need For Success
Valid drivers licence, Construction White Card, ACDC licence Experience working in a cemeteries or horticulture environmentA commitment to workplace health and safety practicesExperience using mobile devices or works management systems for recording and actioning work
What’s Nice To Have
Knowledge of or experience in burial/interment processesCertificate I or II in horticulture or a relevant disciplineRelevant plant ticketsFirst Aid Certificate
