Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Automotive Estimator located in Gold Coast, QLD. The Automotive Estimator will be responsible for evaluating vehicle damage, preparing repair cost estimates, liaising with customers, insurance companies, and repair technicians, and ensuring efficient workflow within the repair process. Additional responsibilities include maintaining accurate documentation, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Qualifications
* Proficiency in damage assessment, cost estimation, and use of computerized estimating systems
* Understanding of automotive repair processes, materials, and labor costs
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers, technicians, and insurance providers
* Attention to detail and accuracy in documenting and preparing repair estimates
* Organizational and multitasking skills to manage multiple estimates and coordinate repairs efficiently
* Experience in the automotive industry or as an estimator is preferred
* Proficiency with relevant software and tools used in automotive estimating
* Basic understanding of insurance processes related to automotive repairs is an asset
