Rehabilitation is a complex and multifaceted process that requires a comprehensive approach to support individuals in overcoming psychological injuries. At APM WorkCare, we take pride in our commitment to providing high-quality rehabilitation services that empower individuals to achieve their full potential.

We are seeking an experienced Rehabilitation Counsellor to join our team based in Kotara, NSW. The successful candidate will work full-time or part-time, utilising their industry-gained expertise and skills to guide and manage their client's journey as they return to daily life after a psychological injury.

The role involves managing complex cases and providing health coaching, career coaching, and return-to-work support. The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Rehabilitation Counselling, Social Work, Provisional Psychology, or Psychology, and be eligible for registration with ASORC, AASW, or APHRA. Experience working in a similar role within the Occupational Rehabilitation sector is highly desirable.

As a key member of our team, you will influence your clients to achieve their identified goals through a whole-of-person approach to rehabilitation. This includes performing vocational assessments both in-person and virtually, creating Employer networks within NSW, and utilising award-winning psychosocial risk assessment tools to achieve great outcomes.

Requirements:

* Degree in Rehabilitation Counselling, Social Work, Provisional Psychology, or Psychology.
* Eligibility for registration with ASORC, AASW, or APHRA.
* Experience working in a similar role within the Occupational Rehabilitation sector is highly desirable.
* Proven experience working within a high-performance-driven environment.
* Highly developed interpersonal skills, including negotiation and consultation skills, and the ability to proactively establish and sustain effective stakeholder relationships.
