The Role
Carine SHS is seeking a highly professional, passionate, and innovative Drama Teacher to join our team.
The successful candidate will ideally be able to:
Deliver engaging and effective Drama lessons across various year levels, including upper school Drama courses.
Direct and coordinate school productions, guiding students through all aspects of theatrical performance — from rehearsal and stagecraft to performance night.
Inspire students to explore their creativity and voice through drama, developing their performance skills, ensemble work, and artistic expression.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop, review, and refine the Drama curriculum, ensuring it remains dynamic, relevant, and challenging.
Encourage students to participate in performances, festivals, competitions, and other opportunities to showcase their talents.
Foster a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment where all students can thrive and express themselves through performance.
