About the role
As the Supply Planner you will play a central role in ensuring products are available to meet customer demand while maintaining efficient inventory levels. You will work closely with production, sales, logistics, and external partners to develop and execute supply plans that account for commercial priorities, seasonal demand, and the unique cycles of production, from harvest to aging and bottling. This role is ideal for someone with strong planning skills, analytical ability, and a clear understanding of the operational complexities of wine manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities
* You will develop and manage supply plans that align with sales forecasts, production schedules, and inventory targets, working closely with production teams, co-packers, and suppliers to ensure materials and finished goods are available when needed.
* You will monitor inventory across multiple locations, balance service levels with working capital, and adjust plans to respond to demand changes and market trends.
* The role involves coordinating bottling, labelling, and distribution schedules while accounting for harvests and maturation timelines, as well as analysing supply chain data to identify improvements, efficiencies, and cost savings.
* You will communicate with stakeholders across production, sales, and logistics, providing insights for new product development and commercial planning, and helping to manage supply risks through proactive planning and supplier collaboration.
Skills & Experience
* 3+ years' experience in supply chain planning, inventory management, or a related role, preferably in beverage or FMCG.
* Strong understanding of production cycles, lead times, and inventory principles specific to beverage manufacturing.
* Experience with supply planning tools and ERP systems, with Microsoft Business Central and/or Anaplan highly regarded.
* Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and forecast trends.
* Effective communicator who can collaborate across functions in a fast-paced environment.
