Job Description
The Department of Education, Western Australia is seeking a pool of Desktop Publishers to support the development of educational materials for print and online publication.
Key Responsibilities:
* Contribute to the design and development of educational materials using Microsoft Word and desktop publishing software such as Adobe Creative Cloud, InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
* Collaborate with team members to refine draft materials and resolve issues associated with producing a broad range of publications.
* Maintain effective records and databases in accordance with record keeping policies.
Requirements:
* Demonstrated experience in advanced desktop publishing skills in Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
* Demonstrated well-developed skills in formatting for print and online publication.
* Demonstrated verbal communication and interpersonal skills, including the capacity to negotiate effectively with relevant internal key stakeholders at all levels.
* Demonstrated experience in working independently and in a team environment.
* Demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise the management of workloads.
