About the Role
We are seeking experienced and motivated Foremen or Senior Foremen to join a leading construction team delivering high-quality Class 2 residential apartment projects across Greater Sydney. This role involves coordinating trades, managing daily site operations, ensuring program milestones are achieved, and maintaining strict safety and quality standards. You will work closely with site and project managers to deliver projects efficiently and on time.
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate structure works, pour days, scaffolding, formwork, and materials handling (including crane operations)
* Oversee finishing trades and ensure adherence to program sequencing
* Manage workflows for staff and subcontractors
* Monitor progress against milestones and report to senior staff
* Order and manage materials to avoid delays
* Issue and close out defect lists for subcontractors
* Enforce QA, WHS, and environmental systems
* Maintain accurate site records and daily logs
* Provide strong site leadership and mentor junior team members
About You
* 5+ years' experience as a Foreman or Senior Foreman
* Solid knowledge of structure and finishes in multi-unit residential construction
* Excellent organisational and communication skills
* Ability to manage subcontractors and site teams effectively
* Proficient in basic computer applications (Excel, Word, Project)
* Strong problem-solving and time-management skills
* Team-oriented with a commitment to quality and safety
