We're partnering with a major national organisation that safeguards the integrity of Australia's financial system. This is a highly regulated, high-impact environment where identity is strategic, not operational.
The mandate is clear: modernise identity, strengthen access governance, and uplift enterprise security maturity. This is a genuine opportunity to lead the IAM function and shape identity strategy across a nationally significant organisation.
The Role
You'll lead the IAM stream, working across Cyber, Infrastructure and broader IT to modernise and mature identity capability.
Key responsibilities:
* Lead and mentor IAM engineers within a broader transformation roadmap
* Align IAM strategy with enterprise security and cyber uplift initiatives
* Design and implement solutions across provisioning, authentication and access control
* Strengthen access governance, RBAC and policy enforcement
* Drive IAM integrations across enterprise applications and cloud platforms
* Ensure compliance with ISM and relevant regulatory standards
* Oversee identity lifecycle governance and structured ITIL processes
* Support critical releases and incidents (as required)
This is a leadership role with real accountability and visibility across the enterprise.
About You
You bring strong IAM domain expertise and understand the balance between governance, usability and security.
Ideally, you have:
* 7+ years' experience across IAM platforms such as Oracle IAM, SailPoint, Okta, Auth0 and Entra ID
* Deep knowledge of SSO, MFA, PAM and identity governance
* Strong understanding of authentication standards and Microsoft Entra ID
* Experience with Radiator and Microsoft Network Policy Server
* Exposure to complex, regulated enterprise environments
* Relevant tertiary qualifications in IT or Computer Science
