We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to fill the role of Building Maintenance Officer. The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking general maintenance tasks on our owned residential buildings and facilities in Kununurra and Wyndham.
The Building Maintenance Officer will be responsible for:
* Carrying out scheduled, preventative and ad-hoc tasks in and around our facilities;
* Conducting day-to-day building maintenance activities on our owned assets;
* Identifying and reporting structural and maintenance issues;
* Gardening duties including mowing, fertilising, planting, pruning, edging, reticulation maintenance and weed control;
* Delivering and/or removing furniture and equipment as required;
* Conducting pre-start inspections of plant and equipment daily;
* Maintaining a register of equipment in the allocated service vehicle;
* Utilising various tools and equipment safely and competently;
* Undertaking regular inspections of our owned building assets and determining priorities;
* Organising and prioritising competing tasks and working autonomously or as part of a team when required;
* Liaising professionally with internal and external stakeholders;
