West Wimmera Health Service provides high-quality hospital care, residential aged care, disability services and community health facilities to more than 22,000 people in the West Wimmera region.
We cover 9 locations across Western Victoria including Goroke, Murtoa, Rupanyup, Minyip, Jeparit, Rainbow, Kaniva, Natimuk and Nhill.
REMMUNERATION (FULL TIME)
HCW: Starting at $57,000.
EN: Starting at $67,184.(IB66) EEN $70,200 (IB68)
RN: Starting at $79,352 (graduate YP2), $81,328 (YP3 grade 2, year 2)
RELOCATION INCENTIVE AND RETENTION BONUSES FOR AGED CARE WORKERS...
* Aged care workers are eligible to receive a one-off payment of up to $16,500 to cover immediate and direct costs associated with permanently relocating to rural and remote areas within Australia.
* To be eligible for this incentive payment, the employee must relocate
from a metropolitan or regional area (MM 1-3) to a MM 4-7 location and work for your rural or remote aged care service for a minimum of two years.
* The employee may also be eligible to receive an annual retention
bonus for 2 years following relocation and permanent employment
with your rural or remote aged care service.

ABOUT THE ROLE/S:
Registered Nurse and Enrolled Nurse:
* To provide appropriate care to the patients and residents at all times and to achieve the standard of clinical care required by AHPRA regulations and comply with the West Wimmera Health Service policies and procedures of the clinical unit.
Health Care Worker
* To provide appropriate care to the aged care residents at all times and comply by the West Wimmera Health Service policies and procedures of the unit.
KEY SELECTION CRITERIA:
Registered Nurse:
* Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration.
* Excellent understanding of EQuIP criteria (acute and community care facilities).
* Excellent understanding of iCare, ACFI and Aged Care Standards (aged care facilities)
* Victorian Driver's Licence.
Enrolled Nurse:
* Medication Endorsed qualification in Enrolled Nursing.
* Enrolled Nurse Qualification with a current APHRA registration.
* Excellent understanding of EQuIP criteria (acute and community care facilities)
* Excellent understanding of iCare, ACFI and Aged Care Standards (aged care facilities)
Health Care Worker:
* Ability to effectively communicate with the residents, families, carers and the community.
* Certificate III in Aged Care.
* Previous experience working in an Aged Care Residential Facility.
* Understanding of iCare, ACFI and Aged Care Quality Standards (aged care facilities).
