About The Role
The Support Worker plays a vital role in fostering a safe, friendly, and supportive environment for individuals living with disabilities, children, and young people in the care of Allambi Care.
Your Daily Tasks Can Include
* Building a relationship with the people you are caring for.
* Providing around the clock care to participants, following a structured routine developed specifically for their needs, including personal care.
* Administering medication.
* Transporting the people in our care to and from school, day programs and appointments.
* Assist in the implementation of programs designed for the development of the client.
* Report writing.

About You
To be successful in the role you will need to meet the following essential criteria:
* Current Working with Children Check (for paid employment – can be obtained via https://www.service.nsw.gov.au/transaction/apply-working-children-check).
* Current NDIS Worker Check (can be obtained via https://www.service.nsw.gov.au/transaction/ndiswc-apply).
* Current First Aid Certificate (Provide First Aid; Course Code HLTAID011).
* National Police Check (obtained via https://www.employmentscreeninggroup.com/au/allambi/).
* A current driver's licence (minimum of a P2).
* A vehicle that can transport upwards of 4 people.
* Comprehensive Car Insurance.
* Certificate of Completion: NDIS Worker Orientation Module (accessed via https://training.ndiscommission.gov.au/).
* Ability to work a 7‐day shift work roster.
* Willingness to participate in pre‐employment medical checks.
* Two professional references.
Qualifications (Desirable)
* Certificate 4 Disability, or Disability Support or equivalent.
* Certificate 3 Individual Support.
* Certificate 3 Aged Care.
