We are seeking an experience Mobile Fuel and Service Person for our Picton Branch.
Mobile Fuel & Service Person
We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Mobile Fuel & Service Person to support our operations across multiple sites, including internal quarries and client locations. This is a hands-on role responsible for ensuring plant and equipment remain fuelled, lubricated, and operating safely and efficiently.
About the Role
As a dedicated Service Person, you will travel between machines and operational sites to deliver fuel and carry out essential servicing tasks. You’ll play a key role in maintaining equipment performance while upholding strict safety and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Ensure you present fit for work at all times (free from alcohol and drugs)
* Deliver fuel, grease, and oils to mobile plant and equipment
* Conduct visual inspections during refuelling
* Grease machinery and components as required
* Accurately record fuel usage, oil consumption, and equipment details
* Perform basic servicing and maintenance tasks
* Complete pre-start checks prior to operating equipment
* Identify, report, and document equipment faults or maintenance issues
Skills & Experience
* Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability
* Experience in quarry, construction, or mining environments (desirable)
* Ability to identify and report mechanical issues
* High attention to detail and strong record-keeping skills
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills
* Strong work ethic and positive attitude
Licences & Qualifications
* HR Driver’s Licence (required)
* Forklift Licence / High Risk Work Licence (desirable)
