Package: Up to $155k base + Super + 5% Bonus

The Opportunity

This FinTech builds the software that powers financial advice delivery across Australia.

Its flagship wealth management platform holds around 65% of the market share and sits at the centre of how advice businesses operate, used by everyone from major licensees through to independent practices.

This is a $100m+ business unit with strong board funding, a new Group Executive with a product‐led mandate, and a clear investment thesis around modernisation and AI‐native capability.

The scale and market position are there. The work now is evolving a deeply embedded platform for the next phase of growth.

The Role

• Domain ownership, not feature delivery. You will own how financial advice is constructed, delivered, and experienced within a market‐leading platform.
• The problems are known. The backlog exists. The harder part is bringing clarity, prioritisation, and pace to an area of the product that matters enormously to customers.
• You will work across Design, Engineering, Compliance, and Customer Success and be expected to drive outcomes, not just manage delivery.

What you'll be doing

• Shape the advice capability product space within a dominant, deeply embedded wealth platform.
• Lead discovery to identify, validate, and frame high‐value advice problems and opportunities.
• Translate financial advice and regulatory requirements into structured product artefacts and clear implementation guidance.
• Partner with Engineering and Design to ensure accurate delivery of advice, logic and workflows.
• Align delivery to OKRs and measurable outcomes, not just feature throughput.
• Support go‐to‐market readiness and monitor post‐launch performance to inform iteration.

What we're looking for

• You have lived inside the advice ecosystem as a paraplanner, an adviser, or someone who has spent serious time understanding how advice businesses actually operate.
• You understand how Australian financial advice works in practice, where the friction is, what slows advisers down, and why it is hard to fix.
• You can take a messy regulatory requirement and turn it into a clean product decision.
• Strong collaborator across Engineering, Design, and Compliance without needing perfect conditions to make progress.
• You have shipped in agile environments and know how to keep moving without cutting corners in regulated products.
• You are thinking seriously about where AI fits in advice workflows and what it takes to build for it responsibly.
