Job Description We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Seamstress to join our team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
As a Seamstress, you will play a crucial role in creating, altering, and repairing various garments and textile items to meet our customers' needs and maintain the highest standards of quality.
Perform alterations and repairs on a wide range of garments, including dresses, suits, and formal wear Create custom-made clothing items based on client specifications and measurements Operate and maintain various sewing machines, including industrial and specialized equipment Select appropriate fabrics, threads, and notions for each project Take accurate measurements and fit garments on customers as needed Interpret and follow patterns and design specifications Ensure all finished products meet quality standards and customer expectations Manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines efficiently Collaborate with other team members to complete large-scale or complex projects Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols Stay updated on current fashion trends and sewing techniques Qualifications Two to three years of experience in cutting, stitching, and alterations Proficiency in various sewing techniques and ability to work with different fabrics and materials Strong knowledge of garment construction and pattern making Excellent attention to detail and precision in measurements Ability to operate and maintain various sewing machines and equipment Knowledge of occupational hazards and necessary safety precautions in a sewing environment Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines Customer-focused approach with a commitment to delivering high-quality work Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment Basic computer skills for record-keeping and communication purposes Flexibility to adapt to changing workloads and priorities Additional Information Being a Raffles employee means embodying and conveying the brand and the company mindset through our Heartiest service culture.
