**About our Opportunity**
As part of our continued commitment to providing seamless customer service, we have created a new position for a **Showroom Service & Sales Coordinator** in our conveniently located facility in Chatswood. In this customer-facing role you will the face of the business and the first point of contact for new and existing customers visiting the showroom and making phone enquiries. Your role will be to provide an exceptional customer experience by understanding and assessing their queries and then engaging the appropriate member of our sales or customer service teams best placed to support them.
This is a permanent, full time role and while our core business hours are Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.00pm, we can offer flexibility within these times and also the opportunity for additional hours paid at overtime rates on Saturdays if you would like them.
We will of course provide you with full training and a designated 'buddy' to support you and help you develop in the role. As part of the JELD-WEN group which has over 4,000 employees, we can also offer you genuine career progress opportunities when you are ready to take your next step.
Key responsibilities include:
- Acting as the first point of contact for telephone and in-person enquiries
- Assessing customer enquiries and engaging the appropriate team members to help them
- Using our CRM (Salesforce) to enter and retrieve information
**About You**
This is an ideal opportunity either for someone with face-to-face customer service experience who would like to move in to sales support, or for someone with previous sales experience who would like to further develop their skills. Your communication skills and your commitment to providing outstanding customer service will be key in ensuring your enjoyment and success in this position.
We are looking for people with:
- Previous face-to-face customer service or sales experience
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Initiative and the ability to problem solve
- Previous experience with a CRM (ideal but not essential) - or the ability to learn
- Basic experience of using telephone systems and MS Outlook
