The Opportunity

Boeing Defence Australia is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Project Coordinator to join the E‑7 Programs Sustainment Team in Williamtown, New South Wales. This dynamic role will also require you to work collaboratively with a number of projects in E‑7 Programs including Development and International.

Responsibilities

* Supporting the program leadership team and Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) with the successful execution of the project through project coordination activities in accordance with Project Management Best Practices
* Coordination of the Sustainment program's operating rhythm and completion of associated reporting activities
* Coordination of Risk, Issues and Opportunities (RIO) management across the Sustainment program
* Support the development and ongoing maintenance of key project management documents, artefacts and processes
* Responsible for action item management, governance, tracking, reporting and closeout
* Coordination of customer‑facing meetings and reviews, including but not limited to, the monthly Integrated Management Team (IMT), Joint Management Team (JMT), Executive Performance Review (EPR), various program RIO boards, the Sustainment Program Management Review, the Quarterly Strategic Change Board, Annual Performance Review, 6 monthly DSR workshops and the monthly Joint Safety Review Board
* Coordination of the weekly Program Management Meeting (PMM)
* Support the monthly Safety Management System (SMS) Review
* Support audit requirements as required (internal and external, scheduled and ADHOC)
* Engage with project and customer stakeholders to support the development and upkeep of project specific documentation
* Monitor, analyse and report on project performance metrics, summarise findings and develop recommendations for improvement
* Engage regularly with project stakeholders to confirm their progress in relation to their agreed project timelines
* Monitor and support task management, tracking and co‑ordination of deliverables and documentation using Confluence, JIRA and Sharepoint
* Coordinate with the project team to debrief, compile, document and track any lessons learned and corresponding corrective actions


About You

You are an analytical thinker and effective communicator who is comfortable working both autonomously and participating collaboratively across teams. You are someone who enjoys establishing relationships with internal and external stakeholders and you are willing to work with teams to review and drive continuous improvement.

Experience And Qualifications

* Minimum of 3 years' experience in a Project Management and/or Project Coordination role
* Intermediate MS suite skills and experience
* Ability to quickly become fluent and confident in using a range of different tools and applications
* Ability to problem‑solve, provide critical thinking and adapt easily to fast‑changing situations and environments
* Ability to effectively communicate and network across all levels of our business
* Project management qualifications are desirable, but not essential
* Experience with Confluence, JIRA and/or similar Agile tools is desirable, but not essential
* Experience with Sharepoint is desirable, but not essential
* Applicants must be an Australian Citizen and hold, or have ability to obtain, an Australian defence security clearance
