Job Description
This role is responsible for supporting ongoing key health promotion priority areas. The Integrated Health Promotion Officer will engage and work collaboratively with local stakeholders and community to develop, deliver and evaluate health promotion activities.
The officer will identify population health trends and emerging health needs using statistical data analysis, research and consultation.
A holistic approach to maintaining and improving health as well as preventing illness will be implemented across all areas of the KDHS catchment through planning, coordination, implementation and evaluation of health promotion initiatives.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Tertiary qualification in health promotion, public health, community development or a related field.
* Demonstrated skills in planning, implementing and evaluating primary prevention strategies.
* Leading projects and delivering education in health promotion areas.
* Establishing and working with individuals and organisations to develop collaborative relationships.
* Delivering presentations and preparing written reports and correspondence.
